Miss Moss

via unknown

These photos of hers are enough to make me gasp for air. I would love to show up with my locks chopped, minced, and curtailed like so one day and just have no care in the world, soon.

Miu Miu Fall 2011 Ready-to-Wear

This collection, being my ultimate favorite for this season, takes consumers back to the 1940. The essence of femininity so powerful makes you feel like putting on a dress is actually worth something more in this world. It is as if this collection has the funny knack to misinterpret women who wear them to Mae Capone (I do not have any particular reason why but she fits so wholly into the collection to me, no other figures pop up to mind!), or any French women circa 1940 who sashayed around waiting for their men to depart for the war at the station just being fabulous. And no one could portray that kind of scene into a collection of wearable garments any better than Miuccia herself.

Muse of The Moment: Leandra Medine

"This is how I dress, I'm not gonna give it up for the sake of men"
-Leandra Medine of The Man Repeller

Much to everyone's dismay, Leandra Medine is in fact, proud she is the ultimate man repeller. One of the reasons why I pledged myself is because, she teaches me that what you put on says more about you than your relationship status. Respect.

"I'm with the Band.."

 (source: Band of Outsiders)

Band of Outsiders probably is the only brand that has the guts, is able, and somehow always succeeds to pull off what look like non-clotheselling shots into seasonal collection campaigns, such as this Spring 2011 Campaign featuring Kirsten Dunst and James Marsden. Look at how the colors all so beautifully composed and hold each moment in the snapshots, such amazing things one click of a polaroid can do and make the utmost brutal reality flabbergastingly turn into frames of something that our conscious state can only rate as fictional and fantasy. Don't you feel like you are in a movie when you look at these campaigns? Rest assured, I shall always have the most tender feelings of praise and credit for the designer and its evolving brand.

Parisienne/Madrileña

A quick sneak peak of my recent visit to Madrid and Paris. Of course because this trip was dedicated to my brother due to his short period leave of boarding school made it impossible for us to stay and really sense out both cities longer. But it was one of the most fun holidays I've had in years so far because the three of us went with my aunt and rekindled with my dear cousin and her fiancé in Paris before she starts her internship back in Germany. In short, it was a week full of kindred family fun, cheesy Indonesian jokes, football stadiums, historical sites, and Disney.

Je suis desole!

I am such a bad blogger. I hope you accept my deepest apologies for the sporadic postings, exams have taken up so much of my time, ideas and energy for the past months. But I do have a thing or two to share in the following weeks, I hope some of you are excited. Right now I'm just busy catching as much downtime as I can get and enjoying the company of Carrie Bradshaw and loads of carbs. I'll post to you soon xoxoxo
